Ah, grande ol' episode 480. How I loved it~! 
But honestly, I think this just explains one of the most awesome things about One Piece, and much more succinctly than I could-- the fact that you get to watch both the style and the characters (and their relationships) grow and change so much is just another one of those things that makes One Piece the best anime ever. IMHO.
Also... I like Helmeppo. ^^ Although he may not be as likeable as Coby, when you consider how massively he has improved, you have to admit that must count for something.

Helmeppo's improvement does count for something. I do 'like' him, but I'm not very 'fond' of him. I know, that sentence doesn't make much sense. I absolutely love his character development though. (His emotional changes, his improved relationship with Coby, and of course his appearance.) .....He actually looks like he got younger. lol

Haha true, he does look younger. Or... more 'youthful', at least. It really makes me wonder how old he is supposed to be! (And Coby too.... ???) He looked like he was in his 20's at first, and Coby looked like he was maybe 12, but now.... Haha I'm not sure.

I know!! I want to know their ages too. I'm actually more curious about Helmeppo's. I could of swore I found a character file on Coby before ,and it had his age on it. .....I don't remember what it said. I'm sure it was probably a fan made file anyway, so it doesn't really count if it's wrong.....Wait, that wouldn't count at all. lol

I'm definitely more curious about Helmeppo's than Coby's, because I'm pretty sure Coby is somewhere between 14 and 18, whereas Helmeppo could be anywhere between 18 and, I dunno, mid-thirties.
Ideally, I'd probably like to say they're 16 and 24 (but they get along because Coby is so mature and Helmeppo isn't).

Jeez, these too confuse me so. I mean, how in the name of god did they grow from dorky looking losers to super cuties in less them a year? either Garp's training just has that effect on people (Take Ace and Luffy for examples) or there's a paradox there

I think the actual thing Oda explained was that Coby just hit a growth spurt (puberty) and tightened all that loose muscle he had with Garp's training. Helmeppo....I think he just grew his hair out and got better toned by Garp too. Hmmm, Garp should really start a business of turning people into sexy-beast. lol!

lol Helmeppo was hugging on him because Coby got injured and he thought he was dying. Then relieved when he woke up. He had him in that hug for quite a long time haha. And faved? Yay! Thank you.
