Dex Entry: Tatzeltyke live within old abandoned wells in large groups, a small well could hold roughly 30 of them! They can be incredibly difficult to train as they're very attack oriented but if you manage to befriend one, you'll have a friend for life -or several. Be wary of their bites as they can spit a highly corrosive acid! When raised from outside of the protection of a well they gain new colors according to the season, but elongated periods in the dark causes them to lose their signature 'tux and mask'.

On average these groups contain 30-50 individuals, but the largest known clan has over 150 Tatzeltyke and Imperiorb. Their 'tuxedo' changes color with the seasons, and Imperiorb with brighter tuxedos usually get more attention from their clan. Imperiorb with a silver body, instead of the common black, tend to have softer fur and are incredibly sought after by both collectors and Imperiorb alike.
