Crest of Harmony Part 1: Welcome To The Digital World

It was the middle of July; an 8 year old Miki was playing with her 12 year old sister Hana. Miki had blonde hair & pale blue eyes wearing a light blue t-shirt under a black jacket, blue pair of shorts, white socks & black & white shoes whereas Hana had light blue hair & blue eyes wearing a pink visor, a pink & black dress with pink & white boots. They were playing in a forest close to their home when it started to snow. It started falling lightly but then all of a sudden it turned into a blizzard so Miki & Hana took shelter in a tree house that their father had built for them one summer. When the blizzard had stopped Miki & Hana could see that everything was covered in a soft white blanket of snow.

They left the tree house & play in the snow building snowmen & having snowball fights. While they are playing strange lights appear in the sky (Aurora Borealis) then from these balls of red & yellow light shoot out hurtling towards Miki & Hana before hitting the floor at their feet causing a cloud of mist. When the mist had cleared, Miki & Hana could see holes in the snow. Miki knelt down & peered into the hole at her feet. A light emitted from the hole & a small object began to emerge from the hole in a bubble. Miki went to grab the floating object & the bubble it was in popped, the object dropping into her hands. Miki looked at the object in her hands & could see that it was a small electronic device, a quick glance at her sister & she could see that Hana also had a device similar to the one in her hands.

Miki examined the device & in doing so the devices screen lit up. As the device had lit up a huge wave of water appeared out of nowhere & both Miki & Hana were pulled into it. In the wave Miki & Hana were spinning & had the sensation of falling. The wave then turned into a bright light before disappearing letting Miki & Hana fall to the ground unconscious.

A voice calling her name woke Miki up. Miki opened her eyes & came face to face with a small brown creature with a round head with three horns & little floppy ears but it had no arms, hands or feet. At the sight of this creature Miki gave a small yelp before quickly rushing up & hiding behind a bush. The brown creature bounced up & down to get about its ears flapping up & down as it did so. "You don't have to be afraid of me Miki" it said in a female voice. "Really" replied Miki in a voice barely above a whisper. "Really, really, I've been waiting for you Miki & now your here everything's going to be fine" replied the brown creature jumping up & landing on Miki's head. "What are you?" asked Miki. "I'm chocomon & I'm your digimon partner" replied chocomon happily. "Where am I? This doesn't look anything like the forest back home" Miki said looking around at the huge trees surrounding her. "You are in the digital world" chocomon replied.

"Miki!" called her sister Hana. "I'm over here" Miki called back. Miki heard a rustle in the bushes, before her sister emerged from them. Her sister also had a digimon with her with her, which she was carrying in her arms. This one looked like a cats head with tail, yellow eyes & had blue stripes on its white body. "Hi I'm wanyamon, Hana's partner digimon" said the furry digimon in a male voice. "So you have one too" Hana said to Miki. "I'm chocomon nice to meet you" chocomon said to Hana bouncing up & down on Miki's head.

After they'd greeted each others digimon Hana & Miki started to look around. They'd just walked under a large tree when a very large spider dropped down in front of them. "That's Dokugumon a champion level digimon be careful you don't want to disturb this virus insectoid digimon" Wanyamon said. "Ewe a spider, I hate spiders" Hana said in a grossed out manner. Dokugamon heard this, turned to face Hana's direction, glaring at her before it fired spider silk at Hana tying her up. "Poison thread" it called out as it fired its silk. Once it had tied her up Dokugamon is about to attack Hana when Wanyamon uses its slime fang attack to break through the thread & free Hana. Once she was free Hana picks up Wanyamon up holding him under one arm, grabs hold of Miki's hand & runs away from Dokugamon.

They run into a dead end created by lots of trees too close together to squeeze past. Before Hana & Miki have a chance to turn around & go back the way they'd come Dokugamon had come near enough to them to prevent them from doing so. As Dokugamon is about to attack Chocomon jumps off of Miki's head & wanyamon jumps out from under Hana's arm. "Double bubble" called out Chocomon firing bubbles from its mouth. "Slime fang" Wanyamon said biting down on one of Dokugamon's legs. They attacked & attacked but their attacks were having little effect. Dokugamon fired its poison thread at Chocomon & Wanyamon tying them up before advancing on Hana & Miki. Suddenly just as Dokugamon is about to attack Hana & Miki their electronic devices screens begin to glow & beams of light from the sky hit Chocomon & Wanyamon. "Chocomon digivolved to ... Lopmon" Chocomon said turning into what looked like a brown & pink rabbit with three horns. "Wanyamon digivolved to ... Bearmon" said Wanyamon as it changes into a grey bear with a white muzzle & belly, blue backwards cap with the word bears on, blue straps on its hands & wrists, along with red markings on its face. At the sight of them changing shocks both Hana & Miki whose mouths were agape.

Once they'd digivolved Lopmon & Bearmon attacked Dokugamon. "Bear fist" called out Bearmon hitting Dokugamon with its fists. "Blazing ice" Lopmon said fireing a blue blast at Dokugamon freezing the area it hit. They continued to attack Dokugamon & eventually the spider digimon is driven off. Miki & Hana's mouths hang open in amazement. Bearmon & Lopmon run & leap into their human partner's arms. "You changed but how?" Hana asked the digimon. "Because you were in trouble & in our in-training forms we weren't strong enough to protect you so we digivolved to our rookie stage, which we wouldn't be able to do without you as we need to share your energy" Bearmon replied. "How many stages do you have?" asked Miki excitedly. "Well all digimon start off as eggs, then hatch out as baby digimon, digivolve to in-training, rookie, champion, ultimate & finally out mega forms" Bearmon answered.

Hana & Miki continued walking through the forest with their digimon, Bearmon walking along side Hana & Lopmon flying using her ears alongside Miki.
