BACKSTORY
After the escape in the wake of a sacrificial ritual performed by the avaricious evil cult society threatening to inherit all of Ruichi's inner power, Ruichi's Uncle, a college professor at Glenridge and secretly a member of the Elder Hurlen tribe, recognized and found him wandering off in Northport after hearing about the tragic slaughters of his caretakers and half of his siblings a few years back.

When Ruichi was in his adolescent stages, he was carefully taken to his primary home at a vast cottage at the crescent lake. First, he had to have his physical appearance changed. Then was introduced to a hidden passageway in the cellar leading to an alternate mystic world to the mountains in the remote restricted area of Letria named Ether Verno Realms. Finally, he reunites with his relatives and the community from each multiple clans containing different psychic abilities, some appear snarky and others hold high expectations for themselves.

When returning to civilization, Ruichi must follow a strict law ruled by the republic to conceal his biological identity and restrain the use of his powers from outsiders to prevent the risk of public exploitation, especially when cultists are out on the hunt. However, Ruichi finds this enforcement challenging to follow as he craves attention and enjoys pleasing his friends with his intellectual talent.

During his time as an ordinary citizen, Ruichi had to enlist in working some odd jobs to save up prescription treatments for his Uncle's rare diagnosis. And applying for scholarships so he can soon begin his first year at college.
