Sending Liet off alone made Ayla nervous, especially after what had just happened, but she knew the little esk was stronger than she thought she was, and she knew that it would all be ok if she just trusted.
She stood with the other esk who chose to receive Vetru's enchantment, huddled against the hot wind whipping through the prairie. Vetru raised their horn and bestowed great power on them for them to use to hold back the flames. Ayla was excited to help, but her fear of the vicious flames didn't fade completely...
