I was watching Izzzyzzz's video about the history of bases and thought it might be a fun idea to go back to my roots and make drawings using random bases as prompts. This base is from 2014 XD I decided to use my character Sophie, an aspiring fashion designer and perfectionist who happens to have a competitive streak. The one on the left is just a design I came up with on the spot. I decided to name her Liza, as I hc her personality is quite similar to another character Lisa from one of my fav childhood book series The Popularity Papers. I imagine these two as rivals who have the same goals (become a successful designer) and just so happen to always join the same design competitions and toooootally not because Liza wants to butt heads on purpose.

Liza having a repressed crush on Soph she masks under rivalry is totally a possibility but it would never come to fruition as Sophie has a homoerotic friendship with her roommate Lilith who also happens to be Liza's golden child cousin who Liza's parents constantly compare her to despite Liza working just as hard if not harder, causing her to form a deep resentment towards Lilith despite it not being her fault but the fault of Liza's parents, and her resentment to grow as not only had it appeared as Lilith stole the attention and love she deserved, but also the only person she thought of as special. Wow, I'm surprised how in depth I went despite this being on the spot XD Maybe this will be canon
