They don't look like bad ideas but I'm pretty sure they have better chances of being newcomers compared to the more ridiculous ones people beg for back at Miiverse >_>
If I were to choose, I should say another lesser known character like Marshal (Rhythm Heaven) or Arle (Puyo Puyo).

Yeah, and he looks nothing like The original. It looks like a dragon from Dragon born. Or something.

You don't have to worry about Skylanders Spyro; He's now a villain at the end of Season 2 of Skylanders Academy, so his chances as Dark Spyro are now an absolute zero unless a Wild Card is at hand (unexpected appearance of a 3rd party villain or something.)
Heck, any Spyro has a very low chance of making it in due to the fact that we have 3 incarnations of Spyro and Activision has unfortunately done little to clear up any confusion.

Actually I'd say they have better chances of getting in.
1.These characters are highly requested.
2. Micro is getting closer with Ninty & actually did say themselves they love to see Banjo&Kazooie in Smash. So if Ninty, Micro & Rare have a little chat, it could happen.
3. Crash has been on Nintendo portables but Switch is the first to get the trilogy on Nintendo. So he's got the closest chance.
4. I don't know much about Shantea but she has titles on Nintendo so she's possible.
5. Ever since Smash4, non-Nintys has been more open to Smash so much more. Just look at Cloud. Only time he was on Nintendo was in Kingdom Hearts: ReCoded.
Anything is possible with Smash nowadays. Your choices are more believable than you think.

People say Nintendo will never put characters outside of Nintendo. But Cloud (who originate on the PlayStation) made it Smash. Why can't Banjo-Kazooie (who originate on the Nintendo 64) make it in Smash?
Not only, The Banjo-Kazooie skin pack was on Minecraft on the Switch! How can you say they won't be back when it's right in front in their face?!

Now that my dream of having Inklings in Smash became a reality, my character predictions are Decidueye, Shovel Knight, and Spring Man (with Ribbon Girl as an alternative). My stage predictions are Arowana Mall (or maybe Inkopolis Plaza), Alola League, Spring Stadium, and Plains of Passage.

Shantae, and Banjo and Kazooie are a MUST for Smash Switch. I don't know about Crash, even though he had been on Nintendo consoles before.
I would also love to see Snake, Lip (Panel De Pon), King K.Rool, Mona, Decidueye, and of course, Geno (the REAL Geno, not a Mii outfit) in Smash as well. And if they are going to add Lip, they might as well replace the Lip's Stick item with another item.
