So I bought Prototype last week and wasn't all that impressed. It seemed ok but It didn't really grab me. But then I got to the part where Alex unlocked his armored form and I was like, "HOLY CRAP!! THIS GUY'S A FRIGGIN GUYVER!!...
hmmm." Then the next think I knew, I had a pencil in my hand and paper in front. Don't ya just love it when inspiration hits you outta no where 
. I threw in Spiderman because it was a friend's suggestion.You guys know I don't own any of these characters or the two ad posters in the background.
So who do you think would win, Alex Mercer or Guyver 1 (pre volume 25; he can us the Gigantic but not Exceed)?
My money would be on Sho. Although Alex's strength is Hulk status, he's not as durable; and nothing beats a good ol' Gigantic Power Punch to the face or a Mega/Giga Smasher. As for Spiderman...he should really sit this one out, or call in Tony Stark.

It would be tough to call, though I say it would be a draw, leaning towards the Guyver. After an INCREDIBLY EPIC battle, the Guyver finally puts Mercer down and walks away, then after an hour or so, Mercer reforms from whatever state/thing he'd been reduced to (he WAS reduced to a scuff mark on the cost of NYC by the nuke and reformed the very same night after all), decides perusing another fight would be to much trouble and goes off to do his own thing

I'm putting my money on Mercer. I'd like to see the Guyver try to come close to his body count by the end of the game. That takes a special kind of talent to commit that much genocide.

If Sho wanted to go on a killing spree, he'd exceed Mercer's body count ten times over in less than 2 days. You should really read the Guyver manga, it's a great story.

When I first unlocked that armor I also thought the same thing: Man, that looks so much like the Guyver. And the fact that the armor kicks some serious ass just adds to the awesomeness.

As much as I'd root for Alex, this is a very tough call on who the victor would be, Alex isn't as durable, and the Guyver isn't as fast (I think). They both have great strength and stabbing weapons. The Guyver has massive fire power, but Alex has tremendous healing powers (I mean he survived a nuclear explosion ya know) so Alex will just keep coming!
So, I'm gonna call this one a draw!
In other words this was a pretty epic idea! XD Awsome, totally awsome!
If you think about it these two would make an excellent team! that would be cool!

The guyver can fly around 300 mph and run up to 95 mph

This fight = epic, hands down epic.
Alex has alot of abilities and plus he have his parkour ability. It is going to be a close fight or end in a draw. Also, Alex wont be able to do the consuming of the Guyver unit, since it is, like you said, made in such a way that it store the memories and DNA of the host and if someone attempts to absorb him, the self-defence mode kicks in and it will get messy. Veeeery messy.
Im yet to read the manga, but I have seen the original, aswell as the remade anime series of Guyver, so I know how a few things, plus I have checked up lore (aka story, background, data and ect) on Guyver.
To be honest, Guyver do have the advantage of the megasmasher, but on the other hand, Alex Mercer has the ability of parkour, which means he could easily dodge the beams with a well-timed jump + fly dodge combo. Atleast, that's my theory on that matter.
And when it comes to a brawl, im sure all hell is gonna break loose, especially when Gigantic starts to show up.

I think the guyver is the winner here, Mercer is the american Aptom to me. But Aptom is in control of his mind. So Guyver 1 could easily destroy Mercer. If Mercer tried to absorb Sho, um that would be a dumb move, since the sonic buster could bust Mercer's head for a few seconds or even ultimately remove a body part like it did with the 2 hyper zoanoids who use sound waves as weapons.
The megasmasher would wipe out Mercer pretty quickly. Plus Sho has the sensory orbs on his head and can sense where ever Mercer is.
Mercer may be able to glide but the Guyver can fly, and he can fly over 300 mph! As well Guyver can run over 80mph. So speed and awareness is on Sho's side.

Ha ha! I'm "friend's suggestion!" Thanks for taking the suggestion, especially considering it was old Webhead himself. I myself would have just LITTERED the background with super heroes...'cause apparently that's the only thing my mind knows, but your average people make it feel realistic.
I feel bad considering I didn't come up with a joke for you to have Spidey say...I was trying for something that's not funny and that's the joke...Hopefully this'll do:

Artistically speaking, awesome pic. Only a few things that I didn't agree with but they don't detract a great deal from the picture.
I like the real ads in the background because, as I read in an article, the team that made "Prototype" intended to use real advertisements to make the game feel more realistic. Nice attention to the series. Just one question, besides the Rangiku ad, what did you use?
In terms of how their powers are being depicted, I can't really say considering I'm not familiar with either one's abilities but from what you described, it'll be a close one. Surely better than a Hulk rampage (and not just because Hulk is nowhere to be seen...no offense to Hulk fans).

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard reading a description. I love the fact you crossed 2 really cool characters but like you said my money is on Sho Fukamachi. But then again if Alex absorbs guyver then Spiderman is OMEGALY FUCKED, and stark well just say war machine will be taking over.

Oh, ha ha. Prototype is actually a game and Alex is the protagonist. I haven't beaten it yet because I was working on this pic for a while and stopped playing. But it is fun, especially once you unlock more powers.

Naw, I don't think so. The control medal (the thing on Guyver 1's forhead) would either repel Alex like it did to Aptom (a another monter that tried to abosorb Guyver 1) or absorb Alex like it did to Guyver 1's clone.

Its the way Alex is built that makes it viable. He really isn't Alex anymore so if he absorbed it or vice versa the end result is the same

The problem with that theory is the control medal is just as good at replicating the genetic code of the host as Alex. It is a separate system that regulates the energy flow between the organism that is the Guyver and the host's body. If there is even the slightest alteration to the physical or genetic frame of the host, it will shift into self-defense mode and repel the anomaly before the host is in any real danger.
Alex would get the chance to take control of Sho's body, and even if he did, the control medal can even restore the memory of it's host to before he was killed/absorbed. It could easily rewrite Alex's already unstable mind and genetic structure to that of the original host.

True, but Sho's isn't broken, and it even severed a double Mega Smasher blast while Sho's body was atomized. So it's safe to say that while the medal IS fragile in it's dormant state, it becomes considerably more durable after merging with a host. I doubt Alex will find it easy to destroy, especially if Sho uses his Gigantic upgrade.
