I may have grown up with the first movie but Mewtwo’s Origin short before the movie was something I only recently came across and by god as if I already didn’t feel bad enough for Mewtwo ;-;

I never really knew about Mewtwo's origins apart from the scientists creating him. Now I'm afraid to look further in cuz I don't want to feel...the feels

Oh there’s re definitely feels but I recommend checking it out anyways, it adds some depth into why he went berserk at the beginning of Mewtwo strikes back, his emotions were out of control and he had no idea why so the slightest thing set him off

When did Mewtwo have his memories wiped? I assume it was when the cloned girl and the starter clones disappeared during his origin story? I don't remember that as his memories being wiped (Although I haven't watched the origin story, I only heard about it.). Either way it's still a very emotional thing here.

In the Origin Story the main doctor said "It must not remember this." So they decided to wipe his memories away.
