sorry I've been leaving you guys hanging about it, but it's been..years since my last update..and I am just not feeling the desire to go back to it anymore. So from here on Kiara's Reign in officially cancelled, I am not going to continue it anymore, too much drama, too many fanbrats, too much theftnow this doesn't mean I'm not going to draw lion king anymore, every now and then maybe I'll draw something, and so please don't use Koda, Asha or Leah without my permission, they are still my fancubs

This completely terrifies me.Β I have a character I've wanted to do a comic series for, one that I've kept to myself for a really long time, and this post scares the living shit out of me.Β It's not Lion King, granted, but this scares me.Β What if I do end up drawing it, posting it, and then I not only get it stolen and reposted but I also get people shitting on me for it?
It makes me really not want to do it, even if immortalizing my character is my only real goal right now.Β I love her so much, but this sort of thing is so scary..

sorry that it's so discouraging, honestly despite what's happened to me I still recommend doing your comic, just because it happened to my one comic doesn't mean it'll happen to everyone, it hasn't really happened to Endertale, my other story. Just be sure to make sure you always have your watermark or signature on your comic so people will know it's youΒ

I saw a person whose character had been stolen so much that they put watermarks on pretty much everything that had an image of said character.Β It's just scary.

Don't worry it's understandable. Especially since you have other comics to work on plus college work. I remember I abandoned my Regular Show comic due to the lack of time but well..it's not possible to keep track of everything anymore when you're adulting lol

As someone who has tried to do comics, if you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it. Forcing it out would be bad for you and hurt the quality of the story and art and no one wins in that situation. If you've got no desire for it, then you're making the right call, and people who understand what it's like making art and/or are truly fans of your work will respect that.

Don't know if its okay to ask this but could you let us know what you had in mind for the rest of the story? what happened to Leah's next? Did she returned to Pridelands? this kind of information. I'm asking because some artists quit their comics and sometimes then they do journals continuing the story. I loved this comic so much

Itβs completely fine, I understand if you just loose the motivation to finish a comic. I keep doing that numerous times, even ones where I keep promising over and over to finish it. Remember you can make whatever decision you like, ignore all the people that are going to whine to you about it <3
