sorry I've been leaving you guys hanging about it, but it's been..years since my last update..and I am just not feeling the desire to go back to it anymore. So from here on Kiara's Reign in officially cancelled, I am not going to continue it anymore, too much drama, too many fanbrats, too much theftnow this doesn't mean I'm not going to draw lion king anymore, every now and then maybe I'll draw something, and so please don't use Koda, Asha or Leah without my permission, they are still my fancubs

Never really was into the Lion King (Aside from the Broadway performance I saw when I went to NYC), and from what I hear about the fandom, I'm glad I didn't get into it.

A real shame honestly, but considering what you've had to deal with, it makes sense. Maybe one day you'll at least share with us what you had planned, but until then, just keep making the awesome art, for whatever series you want!

Sorry TC-96 I just wanted to make this known because of what happened last time you stopped using you Oc's people assumed they could take them because they apparently belonged to Disney.
I'm sad this comic is cancelled it was one of the things I look forward too next to Raven's comics, Nala's comics and of course Hydracarina's comics.
But if you lose that passion what can you do?, Maybe one day you'll come back to it.. but if not then at least we have memories to enjoy. We can hopefully assume Leah is reunited with her family and Kopa makes amends with his as well.Β

I figured as much when Undertale and other art started up, it's fine, the TLK fandom is so utterly terrible and obsessive I understand perfectly leaving it or just peacing out for awhile.

I...really haven't been following the drama, but I've been hearing about Lion King fandom and some sort of controversy ever since the Lion Guard went on air.Β That's so weird.
People had bad things about the Undertale fandom....and the Brony fandom...and the Rick and Morty fandom....and basically every fandom ever.Β (Pokemon I'm a little fuzzy on, although people sure were annoyed not at the fandom, but that Pokemon existed.Β That there were Pikachu waffles and other nicknacks on every counter, etc.)
I'm thinking, its not really any fandom, its just the internet.Β While you are on a message board or social media or anything, and having a well-meaning conversation trying to open up to Person A, then Troll B or Whiny Child Y can just butt in and spam whatever stupid stupid shit gets the flame war ignited again.Β People can't meaningfully discuss any subject that even slightly emotionally charged.Β Every online community's reputation improves at the speed of their most obnoxious-but-not-yet-ostracized member.

Dude, don't tempt fate. As bad as Lion King may get, the sheer, unadulterated shitiness of the Undertale fandom is Internet legend even to this day. The only reason it may appear better today is because the majority of the obsessives have moved on to ruining other things, but if go back to it's prime, it was a world heavyweight in the amount of cancer it possessed. Only a set few fanbases could rival or beat it, like FNAF, MLP, Sonic etc.

You know I keep hearing about how people see these fanbase's an cancerous but I have never seen why. I see lots of people complaining about MLP, the sonic fanbase and undertale but I never actually see these fandoms do anything that bad and TC-96's art is the only thing I have even seen from the Lion king fanbase.Β

That's because normal fans of something don't usually frequent many sites about it. Keep in mind "fan" is a very wide term, it may involve a person of passing interest to complete obsession. Undertale for example isn't necessarily so much worse than any other fandom because of it's composition, but because it grew so fast, attracting a massive following in months, while other franchises may have years to organize themselvesΒ somewhat. And the larger the following, the larger the sum of ALL it's parts. By the time the hype died down and only true fans remained, the game's reputation had already been tainted beyond salvation, because the vocal minority was just so vocal.
Not so with say, the Sonic fanbase, which is by far the worst tumor I have ever observed. It somehow continues to fester to this very day with no end in sight.
