As a fellow Texan, I declare my empathy for you. We have no proper winter or spring. We have summer, summer, and 4 (or, if we're lucky, 5) months of autumn.

im 5'8'1/2, last year the snow got so deep that it went clear up so my waist. not only that but our roof started caving in. one lumber mill's roof in my town did cave in and they had to shut it down. and it was frozen so bad that even with a scarf covering my face it almost froze up
