This somehow reminds me of this time when I was little and my grandma was over at my house. I had gotten up pretty early that morning and woke her up. She started to cook something for me to eat and she accidentally burned herself. She would've cussed except that she remembered she was with a small child that wasn't hers and it came out something like this: "Damm-aaarn". I looked at her funny and thought about this for a minute. Then I realized, "Ooooh! You meant to say dammit," and she began to laugh, and woke my mom who came in and started laughing too for no particular reason and out of confusion. I just stared at them like they were crazy. And I was thinking that maybe I was wrong and my grandma really meant to say "damn"; wow, grownups and their fancy words sure are confusing. XD
