“Feb. 6th - Mew gave birth. We named the newborn Mewtwo”
no this isn’t a joke, more like playing with a what-if idea where the story went with the old game journal entries where Mewtwo was actually stated as Mew’s offspring. What if he was born as a regular Mew but stolen by Team Rocket and experimented on and turned into what he is now. He has no idea and Mew probably wouldn’t tell him for fear of how he’d react

Heh... I'd like to see a sudden arc with Mewtwo doing a stroll and soon standing face by face with Giovanni. They do a glance and a stare at each other. I'd know Mewtwo would be completely angry and would attack without warning but i think Giovanni would simply greet and reflect. Of course if this isn't following the show the scenario i'm referring to is with the video game arc after Giovanni retired from the defeat of Trainer Red. But i wanna think red exists in the same world as Ash but super separate. I could see him saying "I Know... Forgiveness isn't your forte nor its your justice. But if i have anything I have to say to help... is i'm glad you are living outside what we done to you... from what i can see... seems you adjusted well." Noticing the bandanna. Sorry if this ended up long.

Yeah it’s interesting to think what Mewtwo would do since he’s done a lot of personal growth emotionally but there might still be somewhere in his heart that is still vengeful and angry

I could technically see a small story of the two standing not looking at each other side by side making small talk. pheraps with mewtwo admitting that ash may have swayed his belief in humanity with Giovanni just chuckling with perhaps some words like "I heard of him... Last i recalled he was known to not die so easily."

Well technically the baby could've been genetically modified before hand before birth since that'd be the best time to be able to do it when its still forming. Though thanks to gen 2 and beyond, that makes no sense either now cause haha pokemon don't give birth they lay eggs that hatch now. God pokemon canon got weird really fast. I think they took too much inspiration from digimon on that one. But its the easiest explanation to kids, so.

Awww! Poor babies! I always adored Mew and was fascinated by MewTwo. This “what if” scenario is such a puzzle for the mind to figure out and guess at certain things.

This makes some interactions even Cuter, like how Mewtwo acted like a Mother Hen to Ash, and Mew gave him that look.
It may have been a "You were Saying?" look, but with this in context, she may have been proud of his growth.
But I can see how tragic it can get. Mew fears likely either Mewtwo hating her for not telling him her status as his mother, or that he may get hysterical at realising he had tried to kill his own mother... Or that he may not even care, or think she's making a joke.

I just know it's gonna hurt them both, especially Mew, since that's probably the worse part of it.
She didn't know where the base was, and couldn't find her son as a result, especially when they wiped his memory, thus erasing his Psychic signature.

She knows he may not take either case well, either by her not telling him, or by the fact that he had tried to murder his mother.
Either way, it's gonna be awkward, sad, and possibly heartwarming when she tells him.
