Sources on where I got the inspiration. This is for my series of drawings that are updating the looks of the Rite of Spring segment from Fantasia.
Note: The official script on both links shows it's a Troodon/Stenonychosaurus after that Archaeopteryx, but I first thought it was an Ornitholestes. Since that famous image made by Charles R Knight of this little dinosaur hunting this small bird, that's what I first thought when I saw this scene. If you notice the horn on it, yes I know it's inaccurate since it turned out to be just a broken nasal ridge, but it could be possible that it had a keratin horn for sexual display.
