Description
First drawing with the lovely Krampus, him and his daddy being grumps ^^I've decided that he doesn't get his items until he's an adult, so those will be in the next drawing~
Bonus lit:
Krampus stopped along next to Drogon, his tiny paws following behind in his much larger footprints imprinted in the snow. The alpha male had a permanent scowl twisted on his maw and Krampus did his best to mimic his father. Drogon was scary, everyone looked away when he walked by. Krampus was not sure why, but as he trailed behind the larger Felvarg, he did his best to impersonate his movements, rolling his shoulders as he walked, letting his head hang low with exposed canines. They walked in silence as large snowflakes drifted from the clear violet sky. The sun hung low behind the mountains, streaking the trees and snow with the last of its crimson light.
Krampus kept his eyes focused forward, licking his teeth as they went. One day he would be as big and scary as his father. He was bound to be someone just as great. Everyone knew his name, Drogon, the only son of Ulfr, and Krampus was his only grandson. Even as a pup, his reputation preceded him. Most adults would not speak to him, and mothers shielded their pups from him. Not that Krampus minded, he had been born an only pup, or so he had been told, and had not spent much time with other pups. It was mostly just his father and him. Drogon said his mother had left him with his father to be raised the way a pup should. Aside from that, Drogon never talked about her, and Krampus did not ask. He did not much care for touchy feely talk and neither did his father, so they tended to avoid it.
Despite all of these things, Drogon was actually a very good father. He never left Krampus alone, and the gloomy pup’s earlies memory was being carried by the alpha male by his scruff through a snow storm. They never really had a ‘home’. They wondered across the lands, hunting here and there, and very rarely were they bothered. Life was mostly easy for Krampus. His father was a very good hunter and equally competent protector, so much so that Krampus had not realized how difficult those tasks were until he was learning to do them himself. While he did not have quite the amount of finesse his father had, Krampus learned quickly. Before his first birthday he was hunting rabbits and soon foxes. On occasion, Drogon would allow his son to wonder off on his own, though secretly, he followed shortly behind to make sure nothing happed to the pup.
Over time, Krampus began to grow more and more independent, growing bigger and stronger every day. It would not be long until he was old enough to break out on his own. It was clear to anyone who met the pup that he was Drogon’s son, even if they did not much look it, his months spent with his father meant he had the same intimidating air, the same dark look in his eyes. There was no doubt Krampus to, appeared to fall Ulfr’s dark path.
