Description
A necklace made from a pen shell, wrapped in epoxy, and covered in clear resin. It's a very moody piece, constantly changing color with every shift of the light. It's a real challenge to photograph!

Could be from an atrina seminuda, atrina rigida, or atrina serrada, hard to tell from just a shell fragment. Gathered on a public beach off the Gulf of Mexico.
