Description
We went for a hike recently, really more of a walk, because where I wanted to go had much more water covering the whole beach below, compared to the first time I'd discovered the area. Therefore, we couldn't continue onward. However where we had to stop, was extremely beautiful.
I had been realizing lately, that it had been quite a long time, since I've uploaded anything new of myself, and I was hoping to make a new I.D., with the results of the shoot...
There are a few that are different enough, that I like well-enough, that I could choose from, but it will be difficult.
This is the first one, and I don't know how many more I will actually share, but no more for now.
LOCATION: Point George, Crescent City, California.
[Just south of the Oregon border, from where we live just north of it.
Recovering the Sattelites
~Counting Crows
Gonna get back to basics
Guess I'll start it up again
I'm falling' from the ceiling
You're falling from the sky now and then
Maybe you were shot down in pieces
Maybe I slipped in between
But we were gonna be the wildest people they ever hoped to see
Just you and me
So why'd you come home to this sleepless town
It's a lifetime commitment
Recovering the satellites
All anybody really wants to know is...
When you gonna come down
Your mother recognizes all you're desperate displays
And she watches as her babies drift violently away
'Til they see themselves in telescopes
Do you see yourself in me?
We're such crazy babies, little monkey
We're so fucked up, you and me
So why'd you come home to this faithless town
Where we make a lifetime commitment
To recovering the satellites
And all anybody really wants to know is...
When are you gonna come down
She sees shooting stars and comet tails
She's got heaven in her eyes
She says I don't need to be an angel
But I'm nothing if I'm not this high
But we only stay in orbit
For a moment of time
And then you're everybody's satellite
I wish that you were mine
So why'd you come home to this angels town
It's a lifetime decision
Recovering the satellites
Everybody really knows for sure...
That you're gonna come down
That you're gonna come down
This one is a great recording.
The following is the band playing this song live, and I still do love this band after all these years, so...

It's important to know this NOW, as I may NOT be able to do individual thank-you's for
And, if you just came to view, I appreciate that, too.

By itself it wasn't / isn't too serious, no... but just compounding on my other "issues" makes life challenging in general.
But aaanyway,
Actually mostly, I learned to play all of these through school.
The guitar is really the only instrument I was learning as an adult.
Anyway, I still have my keyboard, myself!
It is much smaller than having a piano in such a small place.
Like YOU, I learned to play the piano for church and AT church when I was very young...
age 6? Well it was first grade, I know that much.
My mom tried to teach my brother and I, at first, but when that proved difficult, my dad [who was a school music teacher] got one of his other school music teacher friends to teach us!
They wanted us to be able to play at church, so that's how musical instruments got started, in general!
I hope you had a great RIDE!
You take care, too!

Hi Tea!! I'm very happy that it wasn't too serious!!
I never learned anything regarding music in school!! Only the choir director and after I finished 8th grade, he got killed in a car crash!!
So, from there on ... I learned the rest by myself and playing in about 13 different bands!!
I used to have a Hammond C-3 with a Leslie here at home for awhile, but then sold it to get money to buy a computer to go to school!! And like you ... I still have a small keyboard that I mess around with every now and then!!
That's cool that you came from somewhat a "musical" family and had those options available to you for the learning process!! "Yes" ... for me, the deal was that my choir director taught me to play for no money if I played the 11:00 Mass on Sundays ... I accepted of course!!
It was very nice Tea and I hope to hear from you again soon, okay?? Many
s upon you always!! Lee

It's actually a Stagg, which is I am pretty sure is not of the higher quality and cost of a Martin!
But it's always been fine enough for me...
