High-school senior.

Attends the same school as Chyanne and her friends.

His magical ability is the ability to create illusions. He's put a lot of practice into this, and they are pretty hard to distinguish from reality, even under close scrutiny. Of course, most of them aren't solid (he can make small objects solid and hold-able, but they don't have much weight to them), and they will disappear eventually, with how quickly they disappear depending on complexity.

He sometimes forgets when he makes an illusion, though, and has accidentally 'pranked' his family on multiple occasions.

Rune's father worked as an assassin many, many years ago, and while he has settled down and has a better career path, he taught his children his combat skills.

Rune uses these skills to act as a 'vigilante' of sort, protecting his neighborhood and, to a certain extent, his city. He wears a mask since he doesn't really want attention, he just wants to make sure that people don't get hurt.

He chose to be a vigilante after his sister and her friend were nearly kidnapped several years ago. Both of them survived and are with their families, but it made him realize that the world they live in still has it's dangerous people, and that if he has the skills to stop those dangers, maybe he should use them.

Chyanne has run into him several times while patrolling, and has told him several times that he shouldn't put himself in danger, that she protects the city.

He doesn't listen, and rather thinks that she's rather arrogant.

She's careful not to show her face, so he doesn't know she's Chyanne, but has a suspicion about it, and thus tries to keep an eye on her. Just because she claims to protect the city, doesn't mean that she has good intentions (she does but he doesn't know that).

He's a quieter person, and doesn't care much to spend a lot of time with other people.

He has a soft spot for children, though, and works part-time at a daycare. He often entertains the kids with his illusions.

He likes sushi.

I'm not sure if I like the mask design, but I can always change it later. :3 I had fun thinking up the backstory, and I'm looking forward to drawing more images of him.

I'll also need to brainstorm a more 'civilian' outfit for him at one point, because I like the idea of the outfit he's wearing in this drawing being his vigilante get-up.

Any comments/constructive criticism would be most appreciated!
