lying in damp green blades
looking up.

Close your eyes

The sun,
a warm blanket of radiant comfort
uncovered by a breeze
of sweet honeysuckle
and fresh cut grass,
carried through swaying branches
of robins singing their summer song.

Faintly beyond rustling leaves,
children laughing
dogs barking.

Thank you very much ^_^ yea me too though lol especially since it's now decided to be freezing cold here where I'm at. Of course once it hts summer and is 100 degrees I may rethink that statement
