She wanted to surprise him with a little light master/slave role playing when he got home from work within the hour. Gathering her toys in the living room inside the front door, she carefully padlocked the open wrist and ankle shackles to the length of chain leaving a short segment of chain between the wrist cuffs, and shorter still between each wrist and ankle cuff. Then she padlocked the chain loosely around her neck and kneeling on the floor, passed the chain and shackles between her legs, organizing it all behind her.

Contemplating the fact that the primary keys were upstairs in the bedside table'd drawer and the emergency keys at the bottom of a one gallon can of bright red paint in the kitchen corner, she closes the self locking shackles around her ankles with a couple quiet clicks and then taking a deep breath, holds both her hands behind her back, closing one self locking wrist cuff, *click*, then the other around her wrists... It seems louder this time... *click. She savors the fresh feel of inescapable cold hard stainless steel on her wrists and the chain running down her chest with a pleasant shiver which sets the loose chain jingling.

She smiles as the chain pulls tight over her collarbone and between her legs as she lifts herself up to test the limits of her mobility, then starts with an involuntary jerk of her bonds at a loud insistent sound only a couple feet away. Pulse pounding in her ears she realizes that just out of reach in the middle of the table in front of her, the cordless phone's headset is ringing. Squinting at the phone's base station on the wall, she sees his name on the caller id display. With a mix of dread and excitement she realizes that he usually only calls to tell her he'll be running late, possibly even taking a new client to dinner, sometimes drinks afterward. She wonders how late he'll be. Should she wait for him in the living room all evening and try to keep herself entertained? She wonders where the TV remote is hiding. She wonders if she could make it up the stairs this time to the bedroom to fetch the keys. Suddenly she really can't remember if she left the bedroom door open or closed.

It's shaping up to be an interesting evening.

Did this one from start to finish in Sketchbook Pro using the new Cintiq 12wx. It's still a long process, but the Cintiq makes it so much faster and cleaner than anything I've done before on the computer. The chain links are always going to be very slow though.

I'd love to see someone color this one, or add an interesting background. Anyone up for it?
