- Heartpiercer is a behemoth of a sentry, just a Really big gal
- she was born of the love that two of the Gods had for one another
- she was intended to aid in spreading love and encouraging requited affections among mortals
- somewhere along the way she fell into her own kind of strange love with one of the mortals she was pursuing
- her love was largely discouraged by the Gods and fellow sentries alike
- enraged and encumbered by such disapproval, and falling from love into obsession, she fell susceptible to demon intervention
- a demon suggested that Heartpiercer break apart her mortal's intended relationship so that she might entice them herself
- splitting the mortal's relationship and sewing unrequited emotion led to the mortal's heartbreak
- in taking such actions, and with such disastrous results, Heartpiercer became truly corrupted
- she was tenacious, though, and continued to chase the mortal she had so woefully wronged
- it was as her peers had warned her, her strife was all for naught; the mortal did not reciprocate her feelings
- suddenly lost and realizing the extent of her mistakes, Heartpiercer despaired
- she soon became Fallen and underwent a transformation: her tail became barbed, and a huge, heavy, piercing horn sprouted from her head
- her demon masters continue to pressure her and manipulate her purpose
- in her confusion, Heartpiercer inadvertently breaks more and more mortals' relationships and, by extension, their hearts
- to break such bonds between mortals breaks a little bit of her own heart, more and more each time
- ashamed and estranged from the Gods and her peers, and with aid from her gargantuan horn, Heartpiercer hangs her head low and covers her face with her wings, wishing not to be seen
- between her demon-delegated duties and the hulking horn she possesses, she earned the name "Heartpiercer."
- she longs and aches to one day return to the Gods' sides and renew her favor within their ranks
