Description

There are two main continents in the world I’m working on. On one, one of the two races that ended up expanding across most of the continent and defining its culture was the Sagittars (centaurs, but just as often with wings or a single magical horn on their foreheads). They have a great capacity for carrying things thanks to their quadrupedal nature, but it also means that they never bothered to invent the backpack. Bipedal races such as the Sapiens followed suit, adapting the harnesses the Sagittars would wear to their own bipedal lower bodies rather then inventing a backpack on their own (they eventually would have, of course, but explorers from another continent that had backpacks showed up before they ever did). So this is my exploration of how I wanted the beltpack to ultimately look. It also means that they would, culturally speaking, be more okay with the lower body not being covered as much.
