The two sisters out of time are very close to each other, partly because they're really all each other has in an uncertain world. Cada occasionally contributes some of her cryokinesis to Pipa's glass-sculpting, and Pipa lets herself be dragged by Cada into dangerous adventures to unearth lost lore that might solve their time problems.

But they don't always get along. For example, Cada's view on the subject of boobage is that it's wholly unfair that Pipa (the YOUNGER sister) has more than she needs. Pipa, on the other hand, thinks that since Cada's older, she had all the opportunity she needed to pick up as much boobage as she wanted, so obviously Cada meant to leave it all for her!
