The Clan was already suspicious about her ghost stripes, but after she got the scar and was blinded in her left eye, it was confirmed in their hearts; Goldenlight was a punishment from StarClan to remind TigerClan of the times before they had their stripes.Goldenlight has just turned into a Warrior, but is not fully grown yet. This is right after she gets blinded in her one eye from being attacked from a LionClan warrior. Shadowfoot now blames himself for Goldenlight's treatment from the others again, as she was looking for him when she strolled into LionClan territory.
That weird moment when you've realized you've hardly improved since your last picture in July.
I'm thinking that the three tigers that are turning away from Goldy were her peers when they were apprentices, and they just rejected going on a patrol with her.

Aren't the stripes the punishment?
and ghost stripes would be like
someone from before they got their stripes which means that cat didn't get punished and cast into shadows giving them dark stripes

Thorntooth was proud of them, in fact, all of TigerClan was proud of their stripes. I viewed the month in the darkness as a small price to pay for having something that set them different from the other two Clans, TigerClan was already nocturnal and liked to stay away from the Clans...it wasn't that big of a deal.
Goldenlight's prophecy will indeed include something along the lines of, "one that has not been tainted in the shadows." However, I never saw the stripes in the story as a punishment, they loved and thrived off them.
