"Every time I peer into the scry mirror to check on her, it's a gamble. Sometimes I see the now familiar swirls of grey yet ethereal goo against a background of what looks like digital noise... Sometimes I see... this. The noise itself brought up in full. Another distorted reflection of her fractured soul, surprisingly whole, but with that unmistakable crazed look in her eyes. A soul that knows it's being watched with its venomous invitation to let it in. At first I thought it was just an artifact of the hivemind she's woven, but no. This is DISTINCTLY that version of her that she's recovered for me... and she knows I'm watching. She'd ask me when she'd wake if I was watching her.. or flat out say that she KNOWS I'm watching her. It's distinctly these reflections by which she knows as she can't recall me doing so whenever I watch over her during her "healing" cycles through the mirror. She can lie to me all she wants that she is fine, but as long as I keep seeing these, I'd know better. She can only hang her head in defeat when I cane pierce through her lies, but yet, she can also fall into my loving embrace and admit she continues to need help." -Artemisia
