After reading through some of the comments, and people see a bird or a traveler in the abstract, Isee very different imagery. I see a volcano exploding, a pyroclastic ball coming out of the right of the main blast, white blotches on the far right that look like skeleton bones, The pale colors in the lower right hand corner from where I see these bones and skeletons falling wash out to kind of a earthtones and flesh that kind of add up to a sad emotion.
Also painted in the imagery for me is a black and white knight coming out of the upper left area where blue meets red, gold and yellow.
All this in one scene, and it all seems to be happening on a clear blue day.
oh and a frog. I see a frog. wait, nope, nevermind it's all about the frog
I really like this piece. Might have to buy a print of it when I rebound from Christmas expenses...

This is interesting, I see a traveler. He seems to come from a foreign land, one with much sand. He seems to have traveled to a new land, one with trees and land with much life. Where the sky is always awash with much color.

I'm very fond of the colours. It's the kind of palette I use in my own work. The textures are what really give it life, though. I get the feeling of one kind of reality erupting into another.
