Description
Here is my characterization for Daisy Duck. She is a fashion designer/model with a taste for 1940s clothes (because to her that is eternal style). While she enjoys her time on the catwalk, she’s also afraid of being shallow so she spends most of her fortune on charity projects and recently developed a superhero persona called Super Duckess (I call her that because keeping the name ”Super Daisy” gives away too much of her secret identity). Like Donald, she’s prone to anger but she quickly apologizes when she verbally lashes out on somebody that doesn’t deserve it and any tendency for violence she channels through her Super Duckess persona. In combat she is weak but skilled, tactically striking where it hurts most on an enemy. Her favourite music is synthwave and aggrotech. In contrast to Donald, she is terrible at cooking. She loves Donald for his voice, work ethic, and fashion choice (she finds men in uniforms attractive).Regarding my opinion on the character: I always found it hard to root for Donald’s and Daisy’s relationship in the classic comics, especially when there’s double standards. Which is why I downplay Daisy’s temper and take inspiration from the couples healthy relationship dynamic in the 2017 ”Ducktales”.
