"I put on a happy face cuz no one likes misery". Trevor knows that vis depressive mood emotionally drain the other Ness so vi tries vir best to pretend being all right and hope that it will turn into real happiness. But the facade is unsustainable and vis true feelings do leak out.

Vis monstrous self is showing and vi is so confident about. In Ness society smiling with your teeth exposed is a sign of aggressively asserting dominance. And Bad Ness is a firm believer in a `dominate or be used´philosophy.
