“Ah, I didn’t expect you to be back so soon! It’s not what it looks like,” offered Wynn as he stood demurely in the shining white corridor.

“I’m not sure what it’s supposed to look like. What are you doing here? Weren’t you supposed to be at the factory? And you’re wearing women’s clothes?” asked his sales contact Nigel.

“I guess you caught me,” surrendered Wynn. “And technically I am a woman right now. I just need to iron out some wrinkles. And some stubble. But I should confess that I’ve been Winnie all along.”

Now things made sense. If Wynn was at the factory, then he could safely play the role of Winnie as part of the company’s diversity scheme. And that meant that Nigel’s plan was right on track.

“It was supposed to be a surprise, but I’m surprised as well now, Wynn. I should have seen it, you barely even bothered to hide it,” he chuckled warmly.

“Well, there’s no need to look so disappointed becasue you can colour me surprised. Please don’t tell anyone else about this.”

Nigel took Wynn by the waist. “Why would I? I came to surprise you by asking you out for dinner tonight. Or was all our flirting part of the act too?”

Biting his lip, Wynn shook his head while failing to hide his rising blush. They started on their way out, but couldn’t even make it to the elevator before their passions overtook them and Nigel pulled Wynn into an empty meeting room. There he discovered that Wynn really did prove the point that it took a man to be the best girl as he fulfilled every fantasy they’d chatted about as men.
