Even when you defeat a video game's final boss, most of the times they have a Phase 2 on their hands or a "super form" to counter against your character. And that's when you have to put all of your skills to the test to achieve your own "super form" to be on par with the boss. Sadly, that wasn't the case with Prototype 2. I mean, Mercer did achieve a stronger state, but something about the battle felt off. To this day, me and many other fans think Mercer let Heller win, but I think we'll never find out why since Prototype 3 is but a distant dream.

However, writing my own version of how the story wraps up is a whole new topic. Since me and a good friend of mine discussed in the past a possible P2 rp, I kept imagining what would happen should DMB go back to his world after the various adventures with his Z Alliance friends. A conflict with Mercer would be inevitable, but I would envision every possible thing that I wish the final boss fight in Prototype 2 had. Using the whole Manhattan island as the boss arena, Mercer having 3 phases (Base form, Evolded/Armored and a final form), DMB using the Awakened form, you name it.

And like the previous artwork, I also added a healthbar. Both characters share the same healthbar since I wanted to make a reference to God of War 1's final boss battle i.ytimg.com/vi/v1ICtGvgSDk/max… . Again, apologies for some anatomy errors.
