"Well that's silly, its not even my birthday today."

Alice frowned, quite confused as the hatter poured tea from a special birthday pot into an overflowing tea cup, with a large silly grin on his face, completely unconcerned by her statement.

"Oh of course it isn't dear, its your Un-birthday, don't you know, everybody has an Un-birthday!"

She didn't really understand but she nodded and smiled anyway, taking a sip of tea, it wouldn't do to be impolite.

The hatter seemed content with that, and continuing to babble about an assortment of things before the rest of the table joined together for an Un-birthday song completely off key, and when it came time to blow out the Un-birthday candles Alice couldn't think of anything she would want but for the moment to go on forever.
