Description You know what I almost never draw? Fanart.

You know what I really, really felt like drawing today while marathoning through the first half of Battlestar Galactica season 2? Fanart.

So here we are. For some reason, I was utterly compelled to draw Starbuck with the Arrow of Apollo. Something about the image of her going around Caprica carrying that thing struck me as very mythic-art somehow, and I got this idea and even though I should really be doing other things, this picture didn't feel like letting go. So I went on my maybe-twice-yearly fanart splurge. And I liked it!

Please do note- I've only seen the first season and half of the second. If you've seen the whole thing, please PLEASE don't talk about stuff that happens later. Thanks!

Aaaa, thank you! And you haven't seen Battlestar? GO TO IT, WOMAN! I was really, really skeptical at first because sci-fi isn't usually my genre of choice (unless it's really steampunky or past-flavored sci-fi), but it's just a great story with fantastic characters and it doesn't get too wrapped up in the actual trappings of sci-fi. Highly recommended.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THIS IS but that's okay because the art is cool anyway. Really like the organic pose she has, with the flow of the ribbon just adding to the flow and delicate pose of her limbs. Her feet are also amazing, I love how you posed her toes. But my favrouite thing is her trousers. Idk why, but they just turned out looking really awesome.

Well, of course you don't know her. You haven't seen the show. BUT YOU'D LIKE STARBUCK A LOT, I totally know you would. She reminds me of what you've told me about Hark's wife.

EEEE I'm so glad you like the pose. I was REALLY stupid-proud of those damn toes, so the fact that they jumped out at you makes me squee. Also, I totally want her pants, they look uber-comfortable.

AAAA thank you. I'm just watching it for the FIRST TIME EVAR, and maaaaan, I can't WAIT to see what happens. I HEAR THE CYLONS HAVE A PLAN. But I have no idea what it is.

Also, there's the small (and nerdly) fact that the Adama father-son duo totally reminds me of Trean and Farael.

I'm so glad you like it. This pose was WAY fun, I'm so fond of pointless floating. The feet made me super-happy.

I'm sure, you could now. Your art is amazing. But like any amazing artist, there's always room for growth,no doubt. My art is a prefect example of that. lol

Pointless floating, is the most amazing pose of all. I always love drawing free falling, or mid jumps. Poor floating xD
