Thank you!! Those giant sleeves are the most illogical, made-up thing ever, I imagine trying to work around those cuffs is a nightmare That said, I was always pleased with how they look (even if they don't technically make any sense...), so I'm glad you like it.

YES! I used that encyclopedia stock, it's great stuff. Works SO well for random Astral Arcana-ness. Thanks a lot, I'm glad you like her... I was worried I'd ruin the pencil drawing with ink, but apparently it all came out okay in the end.

Why she looks grand! Beautiful attire,i'm especially fond of her jewelry.Have you seen that necklace somewhere or is it your design?

I TOTALLY made that necklace up. I don't know, I just designed it for her one day and it kind of became part of her permanent attire. I'm really glad you like it, thanks so much!!

Those map patterns... I've had that ~ewark encyclopedia stock sitting on my computer for a while but had no idea when or where I was going to use it, and here we are! Oh I love Multiply mode in Photoshop, it's a complete lifesaver.

WOW, this is great! Definitely one of my favorite submissions lately. There is SO MUCH detail going on here! I really love her outfit (EEE THOSE AWESOME SLEEVES!) and her hat is totally amazing, haha. I love the overall red wash on it too, and the bg is SO AWESOME!!!

AAAA THANK YOU!! I'm really glad you like it, I've really been trying to branch out with color and background and lighting, so I'm glad it seems to be paying off.

I've been telling other people that this is Rian's default outfit. I never draw it because there's just too much stuff going on for it to be quick to draw, but this is basically what she wears all the time. Girl's got style!

Thank you! I actually think playing around with those speedpaints helped out my shading and highlights already! I've had this outfit designed for her for AGES, I've just never finished a picture of the whole thing. (I do have one of her in the hat, and one of her in the coat, but never both at once. )

I keep telling everyone that this is the outfit she wears all the time pretty much, but alas, I'm boring so I always opt to draw her in something MUCH less ostentatious (even though she's a really ostentatious character, I'm just lazy with my details sometimes).

Thank you!! I'm glad you like it!! I totally love her coat... she actually wears it all the time, I just never draw her in it, which is why I did this. Besides this one, I only have one other picture of her actually wearing her coat in my gallery, and only one of her with her hat, never both at once. This is her "default" outfit. But yeah, considering your costume-love, I figured you might approve of this one.

You should be ... I like it when lines look so secure on a drawing, and especially when one goes into detail whilst depicting clothes. Personally, I'm too lazy for that, but I admire those who aren't...

Gosh I know how that is Though I'm more timid about coloring with traditional mediums, so scared of ruining the initial drawing >.<

YES ME TOO. I never used to want to color anything because I didn't want to lose what I loved about the original picture, but now I'm a lot less timid about it because, I'm now realizing, I started trusting the media a lot more. I'm not scared to ink because I know if I mess up I can fix it in PS; I'm not scared to color because the paint/pencil/whatever will just do what it will and I'll cope however it happens. I don't know exactly when I got so "que sera, sera" about my art, but I like it because it means I don't get stressed out anymore if NOT EVERYTHING IS PERFECT OH GOD .

That's a good way to look at things; I should try that more often too. Probably end up trying a lot of different mediums (I keep looking at watercolors .) Besides, I've noticed a lot of "happy accidents" can occur and actually give the painting a better look than before :3

Watercolor can be great for happy accidents. They're tough to control but really rewarding when you get the hang of it. I get a lot less joy out of more opaque mediums myself, but watercolors...
