A ti
Que dejaste entraΓ±ables recuerdos rodeando mi mente.
Cambiando mi cuerpo
Cambiando mi ser
Sacadas de mi corazon habre de seguir
Para al final, hacerlas parte de mi.
--------------------------------------------------
To you:
That you left endless thoughts around my mind
Changing my body
Changing myself
Taken them out from my body I will keep moving on
Until the end I will make them part of me.
This is not meant to be a poem, just a thought I wanted to have with this work.
Part of my days and part of the days of the people I love are molded by those old words left behind.
Don't take this as something stupid like emo, its not that way.
But don't tell me you haven't been hurt by the words that someone you cared about left a scar inside you.
This is for a personal project, a small series 3 works as usual in me.
Model: annonymous.
50mm f/1.4, 430ex, 550 ex, selectively cross processed in PSCS2.
60 maggots which I don't know their specific name in english, found them as zoofobas at pet stores in my city, they are such cute little things.
Apple left in the sun for over a week and a half.
Feels good to do this type of things again
Wait for more weird shit in the future!
Hope you enjoy this small series.

this describes the dream that i just woke up from.
i couldnt stop vomiting hahaha
this is amazing. it has a "metalcore" vibe. its probs just me, i listen to a lot of that music but it would be an amazing album cover for a metalcore band.

Nice shot.
Those are mealworms, btw - and they are quite tasty grilled! (I'm not kidding - the Audubon Insectarium in New Orleans serves them, along with a bevy of other cooked insects.)

I see nipple on the left center. You may want to... I dunno, change it to 'mature rating' just in case. Anyhow, great job!

It is a powerful translation - and such beautiful imagery. If we all saw the pain words of the past can cause as clearly as this, we would treat ourselves far more kindly I think.

That is such a deep, powerful concept. The maggots eat away at the rotting apple that used to be beautiful and whole once, like an innocent soul. But the pain continues to eat away at the person as he/she survives each passing day and won't end until the ultimate end: death.

Oh beautiful picture. The little worms stand out so nicely against the skin and the apple. They're so cute <3
They are meal worms I believe. Too big to be maggots. Also, maggots eat dead things, and turn into flies. meal worms eat chicken mash (dried out corn in a bucket), and turn into beetles.

No they aren't. Mealworms are much smaller and don't have those black heads, tails and markings. I only know their German name, but after some searching, I believe they're called superworm or zophobas in English.
Like mealworms, they're a kind of darkling beetle larvae and thus turn into beetles later.
Apart from that, the photo really is creepy yet stunning. Great work!

ahh now that I look at it again, you're right. They are a bit too big to be mealworms, but mealworms do have some black on their tail (well some of them do... My dad and I used to raise them to feed fire belly toads) I guess I just haven't seen one in a long long time. thanks
