Well I had a photoshoot with my nephew Tadeo (a long time ago) and I was experimenting because his parents had never photographed him and they asked me to do whatever I wanted, so here is the result his little hand and mine... in this picture he had 1 month old
.I had to use ps to get this color... I think that is cheating
but oh well

Tried to comment on this earlier but the system wouldn't let me, this is an excellent picture, the emotion is very strong in it and the contrast from the caring older hand to the grip of the innocent and needing new hand is beautiful. Colour choice was perfect and as far as cheating? we all do it, think of it this way, you're cheating just as much as a film developer in a dark room cheats

really expressive shot, that tenderness and softeness of the hand and the innocense, it has all been captured by the composition and the sharpness of the image is a bonus, nice macro..

There's such tenderness in the way you are holding his tiny
hand.....his hand is perfection and so is yours. The beauti-
ful way you shot this, the angle that emphasizes the difference
in size between adult and baby makes my heart ache. It
makes me realize we all need someone to take care of, and
to take care of us. When an image makes you stop & think
about feelings like that, I think you have captured perfec-
tion. Favorite !! And the blue colorwork....well I think it adds
to the image rather than detracts from it......a little melan-
choly.....what was, is and maybe will be............................

Everyone else has already said everything worth saying several times over. but it is stunning. I kinda wish the background was made slightly out of focus/blurry in photoshop but that would have been cheating more. It would have realy brought out the details on the hands i think. it might of taken away the realistic edge though.

i cheat on hues too for my photos but it makes them more interesting and brings out the point of view better if you choose the right color!! lol but that's what photoshop is for right? so then it's not cheating.

its cheating but good cheating
i love it the blue really adds to it, its normally ascciated as a bit of a awkward colour, cold etcetra.
but the the baby's hand really just calms the blue down and makes this photo alot more emerseive i love it, great angle, great composition lovely a fave
