As Tara takes a position next to May, Freddy downs his whiskey.
"Two things that are always true Mr. Lynch." May begins, holding up two fingers. "First impressions are critical, especially in the criminal world. And they are often wrong, just as you and your men were about me and my associate."
"What do you want?" Freddy growls.
"Relax Freddy, I know your reputation, and your brothers. With that in mind I've already placed 10 grand into your account in anticipation that this meeting would become....strained." May tells him. "Just hear me out and you keep the money whether we do business or not."
Relaxing a bit Freddy replies with a simple; "Go on."
"As I said, I'd like to place an order for hardware; but we'll get back to that in a bit. First, I understand that the Jade Empress of Chinatown has caused you some problems in the past." May says, waiting for some comment from the crime syndicate leader.
After a moment of thought, Freddy shrugs slightly and says; "It's no secret, she's my number one competitor. And we've had some shipments hijacked by her in the past. So what?" He asks, and before May can answer; "But she's way too protected in Chinatown, and she never leaves it. Which is why I've never sent my brother after her."
"What if I could arrange for Jade to leave Chinatown?" May asks innocently. "And be at a specific place at a specific time?"
"Keep talking." Freddy insists.
