If anyone cares, this is the map I drew for my novella. Original sketch done with Pentel Graphgrear 1000 0.5mm mechanical pencil with 2B lead. All lines were done with Staedtler Triplus Fineliner 0.3mm felt tip pens. All color was done with Staedtler coloured pencils.

I love my Pentel - it's solid metal so it's extremely durable and I appreciate the weight and balance of it. (Doesn't sound like it should be important, but if you spend hours writing by hand, a balanced pencil is essential.) Also love the Staedtler pens - the line is incredibly smooth and the shape is super comfortable for writing. (And no, I'm not paid to advertise. XD I just really love my writing materials.)
