Okay! I don't get to post stuff with people Rahz knew before HT a lot, and I always avoided it because I thought it'd be weird of me. Then I read something like, "jkdhkjhg your character should know some people before for the sake of" yadda yadda. Cool! Then my urge to want to have a before HT background is justified! XD

1. Aki was saying that we should do something with Halloween and costumes and yeah. I didn't want to color this with colored pencils so in the scraps it goes. Anyway, I think I keep on mentioning (or did I?) that Rahz loves the heck out of Halloween and scary things. Zombies are not safe from Rahz's fanboying. Anyway, he decided to be a zombie from his homeland which is a place that you can probably guess. Or you can just ask him. He'll tell you that one. I don't mention it much since I'm not sure if HT is in our world or a fantasy world. I still won't mention it unless you ask. =3= I'll throw hints though. I might even actually say it.

2. I rather like Rahz with this haircut. It's going back to his usual style-- actually it's already grown back, but this hairstyle made him look mature-- which was cool because he's slowly but surely maturing. "But now that it's back to normal, does that mean he's reverted?" Uh. Well... no it... crap. Also, a perfect Rahz face moment.

3. I've had this little style for a while, and I've been working with it but it feels so stiff sometimes. I tried doodling the same thing but in different styles. I was also trying to see what average ears and eyes look like compared to Rahz's and Rahn's. They both have large eyes, large ears, and an upturned nose. Everything else, I usually just draw the same for average characters. :U

So next to Rahn (and below the "2") is yaoi-tized Rahz and-- pffft. I had just finished Animamundi: Dark Alchemist and I was just thinking, "The boys always look so pretty but it's like a certain pretty standard." I drew Rahz in that pretty standard. :U
Rahz would fit in a little too well with that story-- and by that I mean he would be too interested in what was going on. "I feel like I'm right dab in the middle of a HORROR moviiie! >:D Coool!"

4. I love drawing Rahz and James John doing stuff. So for this number 4 thing, imagine like a picture booth. They're in there with their little props, not caring if they look cute or not. :U Anyway, eh heh, James always has a band t-shirt on; they're always made up bands. Rahz generally stays with jazz, swing, big band, etc but James diversifies; the bands on his shirts might totally just be a rock band or something; they're usually jazz though. One thing these two always did is take the one hour or so drive to Omaha (or the HT equivalent) on spring/summer breaks to see jazz shows or jazz-related events. they'd go with the most 1920's-ish clothes they owned-- which, just as a note, a lot of people dress in 1920's clothes for jazz events so they didn't stand out or anything. Jazz geeks. XD The only thing is that Rahz is a bit of a fanboy of his best friend since James isn't too bad at the bass.

5. One of those, "Ah! Perfect Rahz face!" moments. I always mess up somehow so I always rejoice when I draw everything just how I want it. o3o

6. Carol Lynn Sanders! Carol Lynn is her full first name. You have to say them as if they're two names.
Before Rahz came to Strawberry Village, he had a farming internship. The "state" Rahz lives in is pretty conservative, but Rahz's mom is really liberal-- was too liberal for Rahz's tastes. He's not too fond of overly liberal people. And so he identified as a conservative and believed that he'd rather be in a room full of conservatives than a room full of liberals. A room (field) full of conservatives he received! So on that field was Carol Lynn.
Rahz and Carol Lynn seemed to get along pretty well, but the truth was that Rahz wasn't too fond of her. Since he was raised in a liberal household, Rahz picked up some pretty progressive/new age morals that he'll probably never let go of.
Carol Lynn was raised with really traditional morals, extreme bible following-- you know what morals I'm talking about. She would tell Rahz her values or hint at them and Rahz would find them to be too extreme. And so one night, James asked, "She's cute-ish, why don't you ask her out?" Rahz then explained that Carol Lynn was complete white trash. He reminded James that Carol Lynn lived with just her mom in a really messy trailer where they couldn't even afford to keep the lights on most of the time, she was overly conservative ("never thought I'd say that"), and she couldn't even take a joke about non-conservative things. Super redneck white trash. James John very calmly replied, "I was white trash too, you know." He explains how his life was exactly like Carol Lynn's before his mom remarried. And Rahz just shuts up forever. He still didn't like Carol Lynn though, but he did eventually change his view on... a lot of things regarding people.

7. Winter(3) outfit designs. I wanted to kind of have something that he'd wear back when he was in college. So actually he DID pull this out and it's an outfit he fits into from college. (He didn't really grow too much so he can pretty much fit into anything from college). He'd usually just wear a hoodie, beanie, boots (same), and shorts. Gloves too but they'd be someone else's gloves 90% of the time.

8. Okay so I don't know why this entertains me so much but it's just Rahz throwing too much water onto his crops with a traumitized look on his face. He's smiling (probably trying to keep his cool). I feel like there was something more behind this. Totally forgot. Still entertaining to me though. XD I don't usually draw Rahz in a state of weakness, and this looks like something that'll lead up to a moment of weakness later-- maybe he saw a lizard? Or a lizard-chicken monster making things levitate? That's about the reaction he'd make. And then he'd go on robotically doing farm work for a couple of seconds, and then he'd suddenly just bolt for the hills. I dunno if that's what I was thinking of when I doodled it though. ouo;; Next to him are continuations of that style check I was talking about.

9. I was trying to show the height difference between Rahz and James John. I messed it up. Whoops. James is like 6'4" or something and Rahz is 5'5", but this picture was them from back in the day, so Rahz is 5'3" here while James is 6 ft or 6'1".

Oh! Above that is Rahz saying, "I LIKE YOU!" I think I was trying to imagine Rahz confessing to someone and I couldn't. :UU
Still can't. Dang.
