Oh my gosh! poor Loki. I have to say one of the most moving parts of the movie is when he hears about Frigga's death and he uses is magic to throw things around the room.

I found out she died by finding a junior novel and skiping to the very end

Well, I'm glad that I didn't watch the latest trailer.Β

But now I have the urge to and I feel like something bad will happen.Β

It's not from the trailer, it's fromΒ Making-Of Video #2.

Thank you both, but I'm confused; in that scene in the vid he doesn't say "forgive me mother, I couldn't save you"? What I took from this image is that Frigga dies in the movie, but there's nothing in the video to indicate that?

Of course, there isn't, it's simple logic. It's your choice to believe it or not, personally I still hope that I'm wrong, but we'll see that only in the cinemas.

sorry, I'm probably kind of out of the loop, but I'm just wondering what the logic is behind that? (not to criticize, I honestly don't know)

The death of one important character was mentioned quite long ago, and in one of the movie clips when Thor asks Loki for help he says smth like "I know you seek a vengeance as much as I do". And speaking about this particular moment with Loki screaming, if not Frigg's death what else could make him so desperate?

So I guess the order of events would be: the battle stars, Thor brings Jane, battle on Asgard, Frigga dies in battle, Thor tells Loki about Frigga, Loki freaks out, Thor gets Loki out? I guess that makes sense, though I would have expected them to off Odin more than Frigga, as part of the theme of Thor becoming king. When he says 'I'll find a way to save us all' doesn't that sort of imply everything is left up to him, he can't rely on Odin for help, he has to lead everyone, etc? (Granted, Loki wouldn't cry so desperately at Odin's death - or would he... )
