And here's the "bad guy edition"... xDNow, before this gets totally misunderstood, I gotta write a little explanation: This is NOT meant to be fangirl bashing in any form. I'm a hopeless fangirl myself who happens to love the fictional bad guys, lol. I'm also NOT criticizing fantasizing about fictional characters.
The point is that some fangirls go to the point of saying stuff like "I'd love to have *insert bad guy character here* as a boyfriend" or "I wish *insert evil guy here* was real" and actually believe that guys like that would love them selflessly - which is a bit delusional. Let's face it, fictional "bad guys" wouldn't make the perfect boyfriend/husband/whatever in reality. xD

The first panel could probably be a standalone comic of its own. It made me giggle.
My friends once had a conversation like you're talking about. We were all sitting around crushing on evil guy number #15 from a book we'd all read and finally someone goes, "You know he'd kill all of us if he were real." It was like... yeah... but still... so hot.

This is sooooo true for me. I LOVE the villains. Love them. Especilly the hardcore, dangerous, passionate women. The truly villainous femme fatales.
Out of all of my favorite characters and series, there are three particular women that really stick for me above all other characters. I adore them. They are my inspiration for their passion, glamour, intensity, and badass attitudes. But out of context of their canon worlds...all three of them would probably try to kill me in real life.
Glamorous villains don't make for well-adjusted people/relationship partners/friends in the real world.

I mean, hey, I love my bad boys (Kuja, anyone?) but I don't expect a scantily clad monkey man from space that wants to destroy the world to really be a good mate...

ha ha this is so true. The bad guy would most likely kill the fangirl who happens to be in love with them. I'm all for being a fan of a evil character but I'd never wish they were real. I'd like to live.

I had a lot of laughs while seeing this! These fiction characters are so cool, smart (or look smart) and formidable and hence they made a strong anchor of "security" as a lover's role. But reality is cruel and that makes dream beautiful...

Yes that is rather true.... it's especially pathetic with those evil wanna-be's that don't know the first thing of being bad ass... and claim to be the 'most evil thing ever' hahaha it just makes me snicker...
BUT I do have to disagree on "Let's face it, fictional "bad guys" wouldn't make the perfect boyfriend/husband/whatever in reality." because while they may be very picky, even anti-social and all that even they could be a wonderful boyfriend. They could be really caring (well... evilly caring but you get my point) and some might even love to cuddle and all that.... 'sweet' lovey dovey crap... but they'd still be bad ass while doing it haha they'd just have to find the right girl... which sadly isn't 90% of the fangirls that actually like them -.-'
Especially not those who think the guys would love them more than anything after seeing them parade around in some pink fluffy outfit, singing barby girl...
