» Personality «

Felix is shy, sweet, and nerdy. He takes quite some time to warm up to strangers, and is easily scared off, but he’s extremely loyal and loving to those that manage to befriend him completely. He has quite a bit of social anxiety, which makes it quite hard for him to make friends, and general anxiety that makes any variation of his day-to-day life stressful for him. Despite his anxiety, Felix is a brilliant shop worker, and can put on a welcoming face for customers. This takes a toll on him though and he needs to ‘recharge’ himself every evening afterwards.

Even with all this, though, Felix is witty, sarcastic, and mischievous when you get to know him. He’s got a slightly dark sense of humor and some of his jokes can come off offensive if taken too literally. Although he’s not a very tactile person, Felix loves to cuddle friends, and will accept hugs or even platonic kisses from those he’s close to.

| HISTORY |
Felix grew up in the Aquacorde Town of the Kalos region. His parents owned a small bakery that overlooked the riverside, which Felix had adored since he was just a baby. His childhood was fairly simple, staying at the bakery whenever he wasn’t at school. Felix had few friends, and solace when his parents got him a little rockruff pup, whom he went on to name Razor. He could often be found inside, either reading or watching his parents bake, or outside with Razor, but rarely did he play with other kids.

When Felix was young, he found that he didn’t exactly fit, or like, the idea of being a girl. While he did have some likes that would be considered girly- flower crowns he’d put on Razor, an enormous amount of stuffed animals, etc etc- for the most part he took to the more boyish side of things. As soon as Felix was old enough to decide on his own clothes, he stopped wearing dresses or girly clothes. He chopped his hair short just to make his parents let him get a proper haircut. So on and so forth. It wasn’t until he was nine that he decided that he simply wasn’t a girl, and he told his parents he was a boy. Understandably, they were surprised and a bit putoff by this, but lucky enough for Felix, they were supportive.

When he came of age to become a proper trainer, Felix decided to forego the Gym challenge, wanting instead to keep working at his family’s bakery. His parents were a bit saddened by the news, having wanted to see their son flourish as a trainer, but were also happy to keep him around. It wasn’t until he was nineteen that Felix gave into his parent’s wants for him to do the challenge. To all their surprise, he finished and beat the challenge quickly.

Not long after he finished the Kalos gyms, his parents decided they wanted to move to Sinnoh. Not having anything that really kept him back, Felix moved with his parents to the new region to continue working in the bakery as they opened there. They settled in Resort Town, and found that the bakery was a huge hit. A few years passed, and by the time he was twenty-three, his mother had convinced him to do the Sinnoh challenge as well. Razor was starting to get old by this point, but held strong as Felix’s main pokemon for the entire challenge. Soon afterward though, when Felix had beaten all of the gyms, Razor took ill and soon died.

Felix got quite upset by this, Razor being his first and bestest friend for his whole life. He fell into a bit of a depressive episode, falling into unhealthy habits and messing up his work much more at the bakery. His parents only let this go on for a few months before shipping him off to the Issoh region for a change of scenery they thought might help. It did, thankfully, and Felix began to feel a bit better without reminders of Razor everywhere. He began to get out a bit more, and found himself a job at a small, hole-in-the-wall bookstore that he fell in love with as soon as he saw it. Felix began to acrew more pokemon, his first two being Sylvie and Mercury, his shiny sylveon and umbreon. They seemed to fill a hole that Razor had left, and Felix felt so much better for it.
