Ugh, so true. And what's up with the apocalypse in emerald? Are the clouds moving super fast, so that they block out the sun for like 3 seconds, then let the sun shine for 3 seconds or something? It really confused me on my first play through of the gam.

I have both Ruby and Sapphire, but I've only beaten Ruby so far (or rather, my older brother stole it, played most of it, and I just played around. I was the one to catch Groudon, but he was the one to lug us all the way to it. XD), and I was like, "Um. It's sunny. Very nice." XD And I started suspecting Sapphire had a cooler way of world destruction, so I bought it from my cousin. (For 10 dollars. Because he's nice to me. And because I'm small, and therefore cute and irresistable. /hit)
Anyhow, love it, hilarious as heck.(Well, if heck were hilarious. Either way...)

Ruby is the boy, Sapphire is the girl.

I think the names are reffering to the game, not the characters. Cause in Sapphire version the world was getting mass rain & flood while in Ruby there was a huge heat wave. They probably played a boy in Sapphire and a girl in Ruby.
