Spartans have this huuge reputation, particularly after a certain movie, so it'd seem natural that another nation of Greece might try to use that for dramatic effect. And really, if you're drawing anthro characters, what a better place to look than Crete, the home of the minotaur.Related content

I like this variation on a Minotaur theme. I like the drawing and the bit of humor. Perhaps later, we could have them have a few Greek games of competition : running, discus throwing, and not to be forgotten, wrestling, all done in the manner of the ancient Greeks, if the buff.
And these guys look nice and buff now....
