Description
Looking thru the history of the console there were a number of prototypes mocking up the button configuration. The placement was pretty much always the same, however one incarnation had the buttons stroking in the opposite direction. The other noticable variation was the labelling of A,B, C and D buttons which were concave and not convex. Logically this would've probably been an earlier version, followed by the top right variation, then the bottom left variation which is pretty much identical to the final, excluding the logo and button colour change. The prototypes read "controller SPX - 003" Possibly denoting the prototype number meaning that there are probably yet more prototypes we just haven't seen.
