Each sage wears a unique mask of their sagehood, when a sage is slain and their mask taken the person wearing it will gain their immortality but also a great curse for slaying such a wise shaman. their body will rot and wither but they will remain alive to experience every agony of their flesh rotting untill they become nothing but their bones, animated by the curse and their malicious will to live in this unholy state of a false sage.
