Ok. To be honest with you, I have a love-hate relationship with this picture.
Here's the background story - a year ago, when Current Dwelling first blocked websites which had comics on them, I began to desperately search for stories on DA. Soon I decided to draw my own as I had always been filled to the brim with story ideas. Procrastination made this a fail.
However, one story line that has never left me has one called 'Like Roses'. If you think that name is bad, you should have heard the original name - 'Bara Shikkyaku'. I drew the first page and since I didn't know how to level in photoshop, I just erased the grey parts. I put in words and I was proud. I never really got round to the second page however.
The characters stayed with me so you will see them popping up in my work, especially Kael's (girl above) best friend Shay because I have a small *thing* for her.

To the love-hate relationship: I am constantly annoyed because I want to finish this comic but I am still developing characters and have rewritten the entire first chapter. And the picture does make me cringe very slightly. However I adore her eyes and never quite got them like that again.

You may see this picture on another account and start screaming 'ART THEFT!!!'. Actually, that's my old account but thanks to Current Dwelling having blocked the site, my notifications got out of hand so I'm avoiding that account. Going through 2000 pictures is not my idea of a fun time.
