it's the step when you process your 3D models (scene) into an image, which can be quite long, depending on your pc and the quality you want (goes from 200 images /s for some video games, up to some hours for one very hi definition, photorealistic image), when you can render at least 20 images /s, it can probably be considered realtime.

It's very well done and obviously a lot of love and care went into this, but I can't help but feel a bit creeped out by it. Uncanny valley or the like. I suggest you either go a lot more realistic or a lot less realistic, but just don't get caught in the middle.
