The moment her steel body touched the water,
Breaking the waves with fast and graceful motion
She was casting a spell that would never falter.

Swift like a greyhound running over the seas,
Leaping from one continent to another,
The ship passed through every storm with ease,
Piercing the water with a strength like no other.

She would later succumb to the wounds of war
That would plunge her to a dark and lonely grave;
The once mighty ship now resting on the sea floor,
Too deep to hear the sound of a breaking wave.

But her image is alive to us like a clear vision,
Her beauty and grace still haunting our memories;
Even from the cold abyss of a timeless prison
She sends echoes that travel through centuries.
