I am thinking of taking a trip to Northern Lights areas just to take beautiful photographs like these.

This is amazing. I almost can't believe it is real! I currently have a 'light' themed feature in my journal and this is among the images featured!

I seriously think that this should be put under astrophotography considering its the aurora borealis
I've never seen them that colour O.o; Gorgeous

Very beautiful!
The red-golden glow is a nice contrast against the dark silloette of the trees at the bottom. A tandem contrast is set up by the sharp, pointy trees against the soft aurora borealis.
Indeed worthy of a DD

This spectacularly beautiful photo reminds me of how much I used to delight in the Aurora Borealis when I lived in Alaska, as a child. Wow! What a marvelous capture!
Thank you for sharing this with me, and reviving that memory for me to share with my (Australian-raised) daughter. In making this possible, you have helped to give me a much-anticipated moment which I will treasure in memory for the rest of my life, as well as a beautiful image to take to bed with me tonight. I thank you for that.
This is truly an impressive capture of a rare and spectacular beauty of nature, which few get to see in person; and, of those who even know of it, most are not aware that it can occur in these flame-brilliant colour. To show people that it does makes your gift an even more valuable one, and I, for one, thank you for it.
Bravo!

The colours are exuberant as to almost paralyze the on-looker with the sight of it's beauty {I know that's a mouthful...maybe kinda too deep...but I'm a poet...I'm always a bit over-the-top}!!! Brilliant shot!!
